THE BAND
Love & Valor is an emerging Americana-flavored Folk band based out of Burlington, NC. The band has been a staple in the NC folk scene since 2012, and are known for performing almost exclusively original music. Their influences range from classic singer/songwriters such as Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash, to current bands like The Avett Brothers, The Lumineers, and The Civil Wars. Love & Valor performs hundreds of shows each year, recently appearing at Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival, The Cat's Cradle, and much more. Their live shows are intimate yet energetic, with harmonies, gang vocals, and upbeat melodies.
JESSE FOX

Jesse formed the band in 2012. He plays guitar, kick drum, and is the lead vocalist - Jesse is also the main songwriter of the group.
GLEN BOUNDS
// accordion, bass, banjo, harmonica

Glen has roots in many different genres. He is a talented and energetic musician, able to play anything he can get his hands on. For the band he plays accordion, bass, banjo, harmonica, & sings gang vocals.
CHARLIE PERSCHAU

Charlie is an (almost) self-taught mandolin player, who can play along with anything you throw at him. His stage presence & energy is infectious. For the band, Charlie plays mandolin & sings gang vocals.
NICK ALLEN
// fiddle, gang vocals
Nick is a Virginia native who began fiddling at 23 in the Appalachian mountains. A self-taught musician and life-long learner, he loves all flavors of folk music and Americana from traditional to old time to red dirt. Nick joined the band in the fall of 2020 and also sings gang vocals.
ELIAS ADDLEMAN

Eli joined the band in 2020. He started on bass guitar at a young age & learned upright bass in college. He enjoys playing every genre of music & has performed with everything from jazz bands to orchestras, rock bands to hip-hop, & Americana to folk. He is currently taking private vocal lessons and might one day even sing in public.
